[Dixielandjazz] Why the question marks

My recent posting was sent in plain text.  It did not have question marks
in several unusual places when I sent it.  Anyone know why they appear
on the list?

Example-----question mark after book--who-- jazz--- swing

A book?not only for musicians, but for anyone
who?loves the
many aspects of jazz,?swing,?or any form of music.

Also---I send fairly even lines, but they come back broken in
irregular lines.  I send from gmail if that matters.
