Get out there and market OKOM this is where your real audience will be and the more of these kind of events you play the more fans OKOM and your band will get if you are good,  Don't look for BIG Money from all of them, because many are non-profit organizations but they do attract large crowds of People with MONEY in their pockets to spend,  Pack up all those rotting Cds in the garage and go out there and sell them for $10.00 each and get rid of them.  If they like them they might buy a new one if you ever record another one.   If not it was a good business card to boost your future performance income money.   Excellent advertising for your band.   



 Hell give them away if they won't buy them, and make sure your name and phone number are on all of them so they can find you when you least expect them to and book you for a well paid gig.    Back in the olden days we used to go AUDITION for gigs remember,  Well look at these kind of events as Paid Auditions, and if they have no budget the first time, go play anyway and sell your stuff.  If your any good you will probably sell more than they would have paid you anyway if you don't get greedy and think your damned Cds are worth $20.00 each.    Maybe to your mama they are, but to folks who never heard of you they are worthless, and most bands do not make a living off selling cds, they make one off of performing live well paid gigs.   A cd is a marketing tool and should always be treated as such.
