Thanks for the obituary of Charles Huggins, former CEO of See's Candies.  I did not want it to go unsaid that he was instrumental in getting the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Youth Fesival going and provided the seed money for the festival.  The festival is very successful under the sponsorship of the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society and the leadership of Yvonne Au and her great team, and they have been great stewards of that initial contribution by See's Candies. This is one of many great youth programs sponsored by the Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society, including jazz camps and a great outreach program in the schools.  Every year, about fifteen youth bands perform in the Sacramento Music Festival.
