Jim Kashishian wrote regarding “Are You Lonesome Tonight:”
Doing it in 4/4 in the key of C.  Medium tempo, with a vocal.  Works very
well.  It's from 1927, written by Roy Turk/Lou Handman.

I had no idea that the song was that old and never had a thought about playing it in 4/4 time.
