You can hardly see the bass player. I would guess he means the 
dancer wearing the piano key braces (suspenders) near the end of 
the clip. 

I did wonder if he was confused by Pat Yankee's cardigan. 

Google translates the word as "shooters". Not surprised 
you had difficulty
