Some of these players are in the Mnozil Brass, like thomas gansch (trumpet) and leonhard paul (trombone). Here's a list: "ganschee´s finest, mnozilla's Channel": http://www.youtube.com/user/mnozilla
I like this clip a lot, but i like the Mnozil Brass even more (http://www.mnozilbrass.at/index.php?id=24&L=1). Check out their version of "Bohemian Rhapsody": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBLm747tyn0

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] Andy Ling's "Saints"

Andy Ling posted the below link and suggested it may not be OKOM?:

Dear Andy:

IMO, if not OKOM, it sure as hell should be OKOM. Very creative rendition of Saints by a wonderful band in Austrian. They could teach us colonial band leaders a thing or two about bringing something new to the party.

I hope listmates opened the link, listened, and then played some of this band's tunes that appear on the sidebar of the Youtube page. Marvelous group.

Maybe when they are 85, like Tony Bennett they will top the charts. Then again , maybe they'll do it at a younger age.

Thanks for posting it.

Cheers,
Steve Barbone
