I'd agree, but probably not everyone here's KOM :^)

He was mentored by Stephan Grappelli as a teenager and can do a
pretty good imitation of him.

One of the first CDs I bought back in the mid 80s was by Nigel Kennedy
and Peter Pettinger called Strad Jazz. A quick search suggests it's
no longer available. Which is a pity. It was recorded during
spare studio time at the end of a long classical recording. Just
the two of them enjoying the freedom of jazz after the restrictions
of a hard classical session.
