"Traveling with ‘The Duke’: Scenes from a Legendary Life" is the title
of the show this week. The guest list:

Vernel Bagneris- brings Duke's writing to life.
Topsy Chapman- sings "In My Solitude" with Nicholas Payton on trumpet
Dick Hyman plays "Come Sunday"
Nicholas Payton
Ken Peplowski scorches on "Ring Dem Bells"
John Pizzarelli
Bucky Pizzarelli father and son on "Do Nothin' Till You Hear from Me."
Clark Terry on "Don't Get Around Much Anymore"
Bob Wilber- don't miss his interpretation of Strayhorn's "Day Dream"
with a great chart by John Sheridan. I consider this track one of the
"jewels of the crown."

Also, Jim Turner plays a solo piano version of "Black Beauty," not to be missed.

For those of you asking about streaming the show from a station's
website, go to http://riverwalkjazz.org and look at the Station List,
then browse around there on the individual station websites to find
one that streams at a time when you're awake. If it's hard for you to
record the stream from our website, well...that's intentional (sorry).
