[Dixielandjazz] How many grooves? (was: LP Recording - Here's one to ponder)

Bob;

There are only 2 grooves on an LP, 45, and most 78s - the run-in and run-out
grooves on each side are part of the main music groove. The end of the
groove runs into itself so that the needle's point doesn't get ruined by the
label.
