[Dixielandjazz] LP Recording - Here's one to ponder

Did he do it the same way Monty Python's Flying Circus did it?  One 
of their LPs had two different tracks side by side on one side of the 
record.  Whichever of the tracks the needle fell into out of the 
landing zone was the one you heard.
