Dear Friends,
It is with great personal sadness I have advise that John McCarthy passed away at home sometime yesterday, Thursday, 6th October 2011.
It would appear that he had a sudden heart attack and died instantly.
Unfortunately, no other information is available at the moment.
I am in close contact with his wife Geraldine's family and will let you all know when the appropriate farewell arrangements have been finalised.
