Shalom Jazz Fans, 

I'm quiet on the list lately because I'm busy, which I guess is a good 
thing. 

My wife and I will be visiting family in the LA area December 13 to 
January 5. We hope during this time to also visit San Diego and the Bay 
area, including Sacramento and Tahoe. 

Anyone have anything going on at that time that we could come and hear? 
Or if you need a pretty good Israeli banjo and cornet player, I'll be 
traveling with instruments. (Isn't there a joke in there somewhere about 
banjos and optimists?) 

While I'm at it, if anyone is coming to our side of the pond to tour in 
Israel, we'll try to put you to work while you're here. And my wife 
Krina is an excellent professional tour guide who loves to show small 
and large groups around our beautiful historic land. 

A happy new year and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) to our Jewish listmates.
