Here is a post from Panama City guitarist Ted Shumate. The Nicholas Payton URL is listed. Ted mentions warning the audience with XXX. I’d give it an “R” rating for words not usual for a family list.
I admire Nicholas Payton’s musical ability. Got to see him live only once in New Orleans when US Postal Service released the Louis Armstrong Stamp in 1995. He and Doc Cheatham played wonderful duets on a musical program following. If you elect to go to Payton’s website and read, I suggest that you read down to some other posts in order to get a better perspective ( (before you send off an angry, hasty comment yourself). He has issues he’s dealing with ( but don’t we all?) I can’t help him with his, as I struggle with my own, which are way different. He’s obviously talented in music and he has a way with words—lots of ideas with which I disagree—some totally and some only mildly. But he has one with which I can fully agree—you have to read way down on the list if you choose to find it.
He says: WHY ARE YOU READING THIS? THE INTERNET (Norman writes: OR THIS BLOG—I CAN’T REMEMBER EXACTLY) ISN’T REAL LIFE!

Hey Norm,
Here is a great blog from Nicholas Payton (New Orleans trumpeter). It might be a little risque for your mailing list, but the man told the truth!
The link is below and I also copied and pasted it for you to read. Maybe you could just post the URL with a XXX warning.....it is sure to stir up the opinions and responses!!!!!
All the best,
Ted
