[Dixielandjazz] "Vitaphone Varieties," reviewed

Another good thing to have is the 80th anniv "Jazz Singer", which has a very nice documentary on Vitaphone, but especially a third disc of what is admittedly choice Vitaphone fare (as opposed to the miscellany on the "Varieties" set).

Also worth noting is that the recently released "Don Juan" has all the original pre-feature Vitaphone bits, including the interminable Hays introduction.
