[Dixielandjazz] Eddie Condon's Guitar and Lute

Dear Bill & Marvin

I think that by the time Eddie Condon started playing regularly in NYC  
in the 1930s at Nick's and then at his own joint, he had switched to a  
4 string Gibson L7 tenor, or plectrum guitar, which he used for the  
rest of his life.

But prior to that I think Condon often used a Vega lute which I also  
believe is on the Vitaphone with Red Nichols et al.
