Kaye:

Looks good from down hyar in Houston, Texas.

Thinking of Gus Kahn compositions, to you remember the extra verse he wrote
for "It Had to Be You"?

"I'm five foot ten, a man among men and you're seven two
Through it all it's you I adore
When you stand up your hands reach the floor
It had to be you, wonderful you, It had to be you"

Danny Thomas sang it to Doris Day in the film bio, "I'll See You in My
Dreams"

The only time I've ever heard it recorded was on a surprisingly
excellent collection of standards by Harry Nilsson with beautiful Gordon
Jenkins arrangements. The album was entitled "A Little Touch of Schmilsson
in the Night"........and no, it did not include "Strangers in the Night" as
I had suspected.

Harry, as I'm sure you will recall, will probably be best remembered for his
"Everybody's Talkin' Bout Me" on the soundtrack of "Midnight Cowboy"
