ALLAN VACHÉ is our Jazz Sunday guest artist
Mar. 13, 2011 · Noon-5pm
Dante Club in Sacramento, CA
Thanks to sponsors Chuck & Peggy Butler, STJS presents ALLAN VACHÉ at the March 13
Jazz Sunday. Allan Vaché is one of the world's most acclaimed jazz clarinetists,
presenting music of the Swing Era and celebrating jazz greats Benny Goodman, "Fats"
Waller, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Louis Armstrong ... music from an era when melody
and "The Great American Songbook" were king. Allan has shared the stage with some
of the greatest musicians in jazz history, and since Allan will not be at this year's
Jubilee, you need to come March 13 for some great music and good times with your
STJS friends!
Youth Set at noon: Razzamajazz, and River City Swingers, two jazz bands from the
Sacramento Youth Band directed by Stephen Bingen
1pm Set: Allan Vaché, Renard Perry, Paul Edgerton, Jim Maihack, Bob Ringwald, Steve
