There's certainly a good collection of Lonnie's work there.
'Losing Game' is the solo Prestige album that I mentioned earlier. It's
a beauty. I've got a good few of the others listed there, too.
He was a remarkable guy. He loved his saccharine ballads,
but there must have been a market for them. And, right back to
the days with Louis and Eddie Lang, he was a blues master.
Another of those early guitarists who was a great player was Teddy
Bunn, who played with his thumb and eschewed a plectrum.
Josh White was a limited player, but very effective with what he
could do.
