Hi,
I liked your poem. thrum-thrum.
What is it with drummers?. perhaps it is the rhythm in poetry that we like.
Many years ago I tempted fate by writing a piece on this list about Bill Gunter which started
`Along came Bill,
An extraordinary guy`
Bill Gunter responded with one about me., and put it on this list. You did not mess with Bill with impunity.
It was in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan and I think ended
`If you can count up to four on either hand
You can be a drummer in a nice jazz band`
We miss Bill..
Pat
