[Dixielandjazz] 65th Birthday Poem

Hi,
I liked your poem. thrum-thrum.

What is it with drummers?. perhaps it is the rhythm in poetry that we like.

Many years ago I tempted fate by writing a piece on this list about Bill Gunter which started 
`Along came Bill, 
An extraordinary guy` 
Bill Gunter responded with  one about me., and put it on this list.You did not mess with Bill with impunity.
It was in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan and I think ended
`If you can count up to four on either hand
You can be a drummer in a nice jazz band`

We miss Bill..
