Dear Bill,
I haven't heard that story before but it certainly sounds like Sangster - in
his book SEEING THE RAFTERS he said he thought of doing that thing with
Graeme Bell's band. Graeme's boys certainly did the parade thing, both with
the earlier Dixieland/ Australian group and also the later All Stars. I
remember one performance at Lithgow's Theatre Royal when the front line
marched out the stall doors but only Bob and Speddo reappeared - everyone
was craning their necks looking for Ken Herron when he joined in from the
front row of the dress circle.
