Hi Tony,
It wasn't THAT bad, just that the bana flavour (an aroma) wee weird in
beer.  Anyway, I don't believe that you are in much danger in America.
 The beer was brewed by Wells & Young in Great Britain (I have not yet
had the time to check where exactly).  And I bought it in a
supermarket.
