Oh dear, I'm afraid you misunderstood.

Of course other Dixieland Bands play weddings. But the band in SF was  
a wedding band that attempted to play Dixieland. The wedding guests  
felt it lacked energy and swinging horns. Therefore the guests in  
question who are to be married shortly decided to add a Dixieland Band  
with swinging horns to their wedding here.

No doubt, had one of the Bay Area Dixieland Bands played at that first  
wedding, all would be right with the world.

It was meant to be a joke and not intended to raise hackles.
