[Dixielandjazz] The Famous Jazz Singer

Did anyone catch the "Jeopardy" TV Show last week? (It is a show where  
contestants answer a clue and frame their answer in the form of a  
question)

The moderator said:

"This famous Jazz Singer died at an early age in a hospital bed while  
a police officer stood waiting outside her room with an arrest warrant  
for possession of drugs."

The contestant answered:

"Who was Carmen Miranda"

Moderator Alex Trebeck, a jazz fan was a bit shocked to say the least.

Of course the answer is "Who was Billie Holiday". Maybe the contestant  
got confused about that "Strange fruit" Miranda wore on her head.
