Hi Everyone,
Have made the decision to release Jack Teagarden's charts from his famed 1939-1946
big band There are approx. 675 original manuscripts, originally played and recorded
by the band. Includes his all-time hits I Gotta Right To Sing The Blues, Time For
Tea, Basin St. Blues, The Sheik of Araby, Swinging On The Teagarden Gate, Persian
Rug, Aunt Hagar's Blues, etc.
Many of the charts are custom labeled for 'Ernie" Caceres, "Charlie" Spivak. "Art"
Van Eps and other jazz luminaries who passed in and out of Jack's band. Stan Getz
age 17, was among them. This is the entire ORIGINAL library, and totally one-of-a-kind.
Many of the JT individual part cases are included and the charts have been in safe
storage for 20 years.
