 Western Swing has never been any better than Bob Wills  but here is a Guy
and his band  that brought it back into popularity again.

Ray Benson and Asleep at the Wheel.

look him up at youtube.com  to hear some great modern Texas Swing music.

Another act that ya'll should check out on you tube  that could also be
considered OKOM and swing is
  Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks.

There really is a lot more good OKOM out there than what most mouldy figs
think is good music.  And all the great music did not come off of Bourbon
Street in New Orleans  or Storyville to make it authentic and good music.
Remember that many many of those legendary New Orleasn musicians came from
other places and left New Orleans to go on the road to make a living
elsewhere because New Orleasn has Never offered  most of them a livable wage
to play music as a profession.   You don't Really think Louis made his
Fortune In New Orleans do ya ?
