Dear Richard,
I have indeed.
Compliments of Stan King who, in those daze (1980s-90s), spent the Christmas holiday period in Sydney, Australia.
He sat in with out little band on several occasions.
As you say, there are no "warhorses" in the tune list, but there are quite a few great tunes from the Classic Jazz period including "Come On Coot/Hummin' To Myself/East Coast Trot/Wake Up Chillun'/Dixieland Doin's/Strange Blues/Candy Lips/ Oriental Man/El Rado Scuffle/If You Want To Be My Sugar Papa/Kansas City Kitty".
I have lost contact with the amiable Stan and hope he is in good health.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
PS: In your personnel listing you forgot to include Stanley King himself (a very entertaining washboard player).
And bass players, Greg Cohen and Brian Nalepka. Plus Paul Bacon on comb.
