Agree that Eddie Erickson has lots going for him, in addition to being a
fine banjoist/guitarist he's a great humorist, vocalist and handsome
gentleman.  If one person wishes to submit a list of past and present
outstanding banjoists, that would be a great service and not require
multiple submissions (smile and thanks.)
For the rare person on this list who doesn't know about Eddie, search You
Tube and he has an album on Arbors Records  featuring his work. ( I know
that I'm about to be inundated by scholars  writing about the innumerable
recording on which Eddie is a valuable sideman)
