Well said, Steve Voce . I remember the privilege of hearing George Masso live,
and also the amazing BBC broadcast of George with Bruce Turner. I did try to
tape that, but the machinery misbehaved and gave the equivalent of 5.8 rpm.
George didn't sound like Roy Williams, but delivered with finesse at Roy W
level, and wholly individual.
