This is Oliver's submission to the US Copyright Office (housed in the
Library of Congress.

There are a number of these from Oliver and Armstrong. I have copies of
all of them.

My "Dixieland Fake Book V. 1" and Vol. 2 between have all the 1923
Olivers, most of them transcribed partly or completely. Whenever I had the
submission sheet, I added it to the book, changing the key to that of the
record, and using the chords from the record, to make it more usable. In a
few instances, I used the music for my sheet rather than the record,
because the tunes stood by themselves and all Oliver added was the band's
stylistic.

Sometimes the copyright sheet varies significantly from what I heard on
the record; sometimes the sheet adds something to one's understanding of
the record; in 2-3 instances, I was able to use the sheet as the basis for
my sheet, assuming it was the most definitive statement of the melody.
