The New Orleans Traditional Jazz Camp has been awarded grants from
The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, The Hashhouse Harriers Red
Dress Run and Offbeat Music Magazine. This is the second time these
organizations have chosen the Jazz Camp as a recipient for their grants and
sponsorships.


The 3rd Annual Jazz Camp will be held at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in the
heart of the French Quarter June 10 -15, 2012. As of the beginning of
December, sixty-nine adult musicians have signed up for June camp.  Spots
are open for eighty-eight campers this year. Musicians from the UK,
Germany, the Netherlands, Argentina, Sweden and Finland are joining campers
 from twenty-four states to play and study with some of the best musicians in
New Orleans, the “Birthplace of Jazz”.

     Campers under 21 can register and pay for Jazz Camp but must be
accompanied by a parent or guardian.
