This from Carol Taber:

Hi Bob, thank you for your email.  Bob has been getting progressively
weaker this past month, he wasn't able to do anything much without stopping to get
his breath.  After trying several tests and doctors, it was decided that his heart
was deteriorating and not able to pump efficiently.When we went to the ER Thursday
a.m., the doc said that he had had a serious heart attack - probably Wednesday, He
didn't think that he could last much longer, so Bob wanted to go home.  They sent
him home in a paramedic ambulance and we got him into bed, and he died 2 hrs. later.
Tried to make that  a long story in a nutshell!
