Special Gift for DJML for Christmas:

This holiday season, Riverwalk Jazz offers to listeners and longtime
fans a special hour-long Christmas broadcast, “Hot Jazz for a Cool
Yule," for streaming through the PRX website. This show will not be
broadcast over the airwaves or on Sirius/XM satellite radio.

The special holiday show features musical guests singer Carol Woods
("Santa Baby"), soprano saxophonist Bob Wilber, piano legend Dick
Hyman, singer Banu Gibson and tap dancing sensation Savion Glover. The
arrangements of traditional Christmas songs were created by the
renowned classic jazz arranger and pianist, John Sheridan, hwo also
tears it up on Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Faries" from the
Nutcracker ballet in a smokin stride style.
