[Dixielandjazz] Another Festival Bites the Dust

Ocean Shores also brought in other kinds of music -- a little bit at first,
and a lot in 2011. Serious trad fans attended in smaller numbers because, in
their view, the festival had been "watered down." The new kinds of music
didn't bring in the number of attendees or the $$ that the festival thought
they would. The festival has now folded. 

In this case, at least, trying to be all things to all people was not the
answer. 

What IS the answer? I wish I knew, but I don't.
