This from Mad Dawg:
The following links make up a complete TV show on Chicago Jazz with many of the original
players
and singers and hosted by Gary Moore. Great old videos. This is a modified email
from the original to most of you. Due to mislabeling of the links Part 2 appeared
to be missing, but was mistakenly labeled on You Tube as Part 3. I have now put
that one in its proper order as Part 2. If you see or read the screen on You Tube
it will say it is Part 3. The links are in the right order.
The real Part 3 only shows up in the related area if you click on the first link
for Part 1. Otherwise it is hard to locate. I blundered on to it and noted that
after it ALSO said Part 3 it had Bix Biderbeck in the file name. Again the link
is in the proper order. Pats 4,5, and 6 were labeled correctly.
Left click only once on each link or it will try to bring up multiple copies slightly
staggered from each other and will sound terrible.. Some of the female singers are
bad enough!

Part 2 of the Dupont Show. (all links start about 1 or 2 seconds before the end of
the previous link. On You Tube it is listed as being Part 3. That is an error.

Part 3 of the Dupont Show. This is also labeled on You Tube as Part 3 and is the
real part 3 of this show. Nice version of "In a Mist" on this segment. Please identify
the pianist. I know the author. Bix

Part 6 and final part of the show on Chicago Jazz.

This contains everyone from Gene Krupa, Jack Teagarden, Lil Harden, Kid Ory, Pee
wee Russel, Bob Haggart, Milt Hinton, Bud Freeman ect. Most are labeled or announced
somewhere on the show. A couple are not identified. Blossom Seely is identified
a couple times.
Definitely some all star jams at the end, but in one scene you will see the hands
of a director so calling it a jam session may be stretching the point a little.
You actually hear Eddie Condon doing a couple licks!
Note: if you try to use Real Player to save these links, they may say unable to download.
That also is an error. Close You Tube and reopen using the link in the email and
then try to save the file. It worked for me.
Despite some of the vocals by singers far past their prime, it was an enjoyable show
for seeing some of these musicians.

"Are you crazy," says Mick, "Have you seen how many of their owners go blind?"
