As I have no doubt metioned before, whether he is in Illinois or Florida,
the man always seems to find himself a gig.


Hi Jazz Fans,

This Saturday night the New Orleans Nighthawks will be at Al's Place
(Outside) from 6 - 8:30 PM.
We will have as our special guest Mr Davy Jones on Cornet.
DAVY JONES> Davy is an incredible musician. Davey is a  professional and
has played all over the world with many different bands. He was  born near
Tampa Florida and  he is currently the featured cornetist with  The Grand
Floridian Society Orchestra at Disney World in Orlando.  He  performed at
the Bix
Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival for the first time in  1989 and, since
then, has played at more than 50 jazz festivals coast to coast  and around
the world. He has traveled with Rosie O'Grady's Goodtime Jazz Band to
England, Wales, Scotland and Denmark, and with the widely acclaimed Black
Dog  Jazz
Band to Canada, Holland, Germany and Belgium. In 1992 went on concert tour
of mainland China with The Black Dogs, giving performances in Beijing,
Shanghai,  Suzhou, Xian, Guilin and the Great Wall.   Dont Miss him....  you
wont get to hear this great musician often ...not in Lake  Wales!

The Band will be:

 John Skillman - Clarinet/Leader
 Davy Jones - Cornet
 Mike Evans - Banjo/Vocals
 Bob Hudgins - Bass
 Stan Mulder - Drums
 Diana Skillman - Vocals

We will be outside (Weather Permitting) so bring folding  chairs and even a
folding table if you like so you can put your table  where you want it.
(near the band of course).

Trish will have a special menu so you get served quickly:

1) Fish Fry
2) Shrimp  10 Pc
3) 3 Pc Fried Chicken
4) Seafood Combo (both shrimp and fish.... my  favorite)
All the above include --  fries and cold slaw. Onion Rings will also  be
available.
Of course Beer. Wine, Soft drinks, etc.

All at Al's Famous low price, so come early and eat, watch the  sunset.
Please get your friends together an organize a fun night out with  Jazz
made famous in New Orleans.....

There is no cover charge, but ya gotta buy something to pay the  bills... 2
drinks as a minimum.
