Aunt Chilada's.........enchiladas...........only took me a few years but I
finally got it
Great to see Joel back in action, followiing a long recovery after suffering
injuries while skiing. Guess those banjoists are just plain resilient.

Exciting news from Ray Ross, Festival Director!
“The Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Festival is presenting a One-Day
Jazz & Blues Extravaganza this July, at the Sheraton 4 Points Hotel,
Meriden,
CT! With the help of a great Jazz friend in Massachusetts and a grant from
the Connecticut Commission on Culture and Tourism, we will be filling the
midsummer air with great American music on July 30, 2011, with the
Galvanized
Jazz Band, the Heartbeat Jazz Band, the CT Festival Jazz Band, the Midiri
Brothers, and Blues bands (TBA) too. The Board of Directors decided that we
needed to maintain a presence in Connecticut's summer music scene, keeping
our focus of traditional jazz while bringing in the blues. This
“Traditional
Jazz & Blues Extravaganza” will be our 25th annual presentation of great
music in Connecticut. Details are not yet final, so keep an eye on our
website (www.greatctjazz.org) and our page on Facebook. The Board is
continuing
to work at building our Sponsor base in order to come back in 2012 with a
tremendous kick-off to our second 25 years! If you would like to help, or
know someone who might like to help, give us a call at 1-800-HOT-EVENT
(1-800-468-3836), or email Ray Ross at rross92239 at sbcglobal.net, or Ken
