[Dixielandjazz] What's in a Name?

On one of the clips I heard some background discussion about beer, condiments, and pizza that had a very high "Strain" content to my ears.
It can be said that no country is immune from bad garage bands!
Whatever 1950s group by the same name may have been around, I think they are lost on The Internets...

Dear Dave,
Definitely not our lot, as mentioned by my mate Phil O'Rourke.
The Oz group goes back to the 1950s and was an organised pick-up trad jazz band, formed specifically for performances at the Australian Jazz Convention.
Nor can I hear any banter that "sounds a bit like Oz."
How dare you sir!

But you were certainly right about "(pretty awful)".
Very kind regards,
Bill.
