How lovely!
I knew the name sounded familiar, but could not recall wherefrom.
Evenually, it came back - he played with Freddie Randall!
BTW, Randall has been a long-time favourite of mine, ever since I
heard him on a compilation of British jazz playing Black and Blue
(recorded on 24 February 1949).
