The Mel Blanc sides were studio only and he did not "tour" with the 
band. When Red Ingle joined Spike in 1943, he inherited the Clink Clink 
number,doingmthevoice part that Mel did.
Touring followed into '46 when Red left to do studio work in film and 
radio, but then came the Natural Seven period. That started as a studio 
deal forjust the records but then public demand after Tim-tay-Shun 
litrerally forced him to form a  road band and that's the end of that tale.
