If you want to hear recordings of the 1920s emceed by a guy with enthusiasm,
try Radiola by Andy Senior. This guy has figured out a great way to restore
the old records, effectively eliminating the scratches and pops and
restoring the audio brilliance to levels that only to now been achieved by
the big companies and acclaimed audio specialists. His weekly programs can
be downloaded as pairs of MP3 files: Hour 1 and Hour 2.

I have been trying to convince him to concentrate harder on the jazz greats
as in RedHot Jazz, but when you carefully listen to the commercial records
of the bands of the 1920s you realize that they could really play up a storm
using arrangements more than improvisation.

If you are a subscriber toe Live365, he broadcasts there as well.
