Here's link to Riverwalk Jazz Site. Guitarist/humorist Marty Grosz is
honored on their upcoming program. He turns 80 this year. To my mind, he's
one of the funniest men in jazz. From the Riverwalk jazz site there's a
link to Marty's site which has some videos. Marty now lives in downtown
Philadelphia near his brother.
Happy Birthday Marty!
Also, for those of you who don't know or have short memory spans, drummer
Hal Smith has moved from San Diego to San Antonio, TX and has joined the Jim
Cullum Jazz Band there. So you can hear them on NPR stations. Good wishes,
Hal.
