    THE ROYAL GARDEN DIXIELAND    BAND
 
The Royale Garden Dixieland Band had its public debut on January 5,
1997 at the New Orleans Jazz Club of SouthernCalifornia. They are one
of the “house bands” of the Society for thePreservation of Dixieland
Jazz. Since their debut, they have played all over SouthernCalifornia from
Temeculato Ventura and from Seal Beach to San Bernardino for parties,
grand openings,concerts in the park, and at the jazz clubs. They play not
only the traditional jazz of the early 20th Century but also many of the
populartunes of the 1920’s & 30’s. You are always guaranteed a fun
time when they perform.

GENE MARKLEVITZ - COYOTE HILLSJAZZ BAND
 
Again, Gene Marklevitz provided us with one of the best feature groupsofthe year.  In the band: Gene Marklevitz- tpt and leader, Tommy
Mann-clarinet and vocals, Dave Burns-trombone, Jack Sodikoff-piano,ArtLevin-tuba, Don Hooker-drums and Evie Fiorni-vocals. This groupindividually and in their ensembles proved to be most exciting andpolished. Extremely entertaining throughout their set ! ! ! We definitely are looking forward to having them in the coming year.
