[Dixielandjazz] Alan Fredrickson RIP

One of the  founders of the Queen City Jazz Band has passed away.  

I will never forget the first Old Sacramento Dixieland Jubilee, as it was called in 1974, standing outside of the gate of the old 49er sight in the middle of Old Sacramento, listening to the Queen City JB playing with the PA wafting the music all over Old Sacramento.  I was wishing that I did not have to go to work at Capone's Chicago Tea Room.  But at that time I could not afford to take a night off as I was supporting a wife, 3-children and 2-girlfriends..  

Alan Fredrickson RIP.
