[Dixielandjazz] Bb suit???

Hi all,
Well, I THOUGHT I had heard it all, but a bass player friend of mine called 
me up for a gig and when I asked him what we were going to wear for the job, 
he said, "We're going to wear a Bb suit..."
I had NEVER heard that term before, (maybe it's just a Canadian thing...) so 
I asked him what he meant.  It seems a Bb suit is black suit, white shirt 
and black bow tie...!
Anybody else heard this term before???
