[Dixielandjazz] Jim Lawyer

I felt reasonably certain that if I mentioned not being aware of the band's
name, someone would come through and you get extra points
for beating Bill Haesler to the punch.

Did you ever happen to see Jim perform?  If so, I am only curious to know
how much the band featured him or whether he was just treated as another
sideman.  If it was the latter, I can only say that his talents were
considerably wasted.
