Bill:
Hate to be a pest .
I lie, you know I love to and the more we all do so, the more you get to
rescue us all and be worthy of that big red "S" on you chest
However, a man your age looks a little funny walking around wearing that
long blue underwear and a cape.
Your mention of Wild Bill Davison just now reminds me of a CD I was playing
only yesterday. While all the musicians were shown in the personnel
listing, they chose to leave out the female vocalist.
All the sides were recorded in 1947 and the two vocals on it were "Baby
Won't You Please Come Home" and 'Lonesome Road"
Bruce and I were guessing perhaps Nellie Lutcher as I believe she was
associated with Wild Bill during that period.
I've got an old album of 78s by her that I was gonna dig out to compare the
voices but who knows when I'd get around to doing so..
Can you bail me out again?
Thanx
Harry
