Hello, At the 1980 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival I heard the band of a certain Joe Simon. Although the show is listed un the programme, no information about him is given, and I really cannot remember. All I can say is that the clarinettist's name sounded to me like Michael White (probably Dr. Michael White, who by has now become famous). Cheers
