[Dixielandjazz] The exposure gig

So this bandleader has taken every freebie playing opportunity in town  
to get his semi-professional band some "exposure"-- farmers’ markets,  
taverns, pizza parlors-- for tips or beer.

One day he gets an excited call from his trombone player: "Hey, I've  
got this gig for the band. Great exposure, thousands of people, five  
hundred dollars!"

The leader says, "I'd really like to do it, man, but it will take me a  
few days to raise the money."
