[Dixielandjazz] Where from?

Jim (and all other listees),
I couldn't agree more; the last thing that
we need is an endless mind-numbing series of posts saying simply " I am Fred or
Sue or whoever, from Timbuktu or Walla Walla or wherever. My thought was that in
the normal course of things when someone posted an item they would simply
indicate their location.
Please let's not beat this to death - it was just a simple suggestion!

                                     Regards and KBO,

                                                     Terry.

Subject: [Dixielandjazz] Where from?

Terry mentioned something that has been done before, with some sort of
success, in getting people to identify where they are from. It will be fun
to see again.

I would like to suggest, rather than get a lot of "where I'm from/where I am
posts", it would be better to just enter that tidbit as you write about
something else.

And, for heaven's sake....change your subject line.  "U.K. dates" makes me
think I'm going to read something concerning Judy's post!
