Aother great Scottish jazzer was trumpeter Duncan Whyte, who was also 
influenced by Bunny Berigan.

Lyric Records of Melbourne issued a CD, Lyric CDL006, which contains the 
eight tracks recorded by Valaida in London, with Whyte in accompanying band, 
plus a session by Whyte's first band, thought to be from 1936 (and including 
George Chisholm). The CD ends with four tracks by the BBC Radio Rhythm Club 
from 1946 - the band starring Whyte on trumpet.

I've got a couple of BBC 16" discs from 1947 with a similar group including 
Whyte.
